Matrix Repatterning Treatment 4

                                                                                                                          Thurs. May 31, 2012
Today's treatment focus was all about my head.  Specifically the back of my head.

I told Margaret all about the symptoms I felt after Tuesday's treatment.  These symptoms usually occurred within an hour or two after my treatment.  I spoke and she recorded that I had pressure in my right ankle, then periodic aching in that same ankle throughout the rest of the day.  More tension was coming out of that ankle area.  Margaret reminded me that during my first treatment there was a lot of tension that had been released in several areas of my right ankle.  There was probably just some residual tension left over, that needed healing.  I had some tightness in my chest ( I had bronchial asthma in my 20's) and a mild headache that subsided within an hour or so.
My left ankle had some swelling again too but not nearly as sever as when the first treatment of my left ankle occurred.  My right ankle also had some swelling, there was a small lump between my right ankle bones on top front of my foot.  This lump didn't last long either, maybe a couple of hours. The tension was continuing to release.
That's about it.  Not too bad, seems like my body is reacting very well to each Matrix Repatterning treatment.  Less and less symptoms means less needs to be healed.  Yay!

On to today's treatment.....
During the last session  Margaret mentioned that maybe I should try wearing a wireless bra so I wouldn't conduct so much energy to my extremities during a treatment.  That maybe my arms and legs wouldn't be so twitchy.  So I did and let me tell you, it worked.  Throughout today's treatment I did still have left and right arm twitching, but not nearly as much as if I was wearing my under wire bra.

For today's treatment I began by sitting on a chair with a bean bag pillow under my tail bone.  Then I hunched over like a teenager and Margaret placed one hand on top of my head and the other on my lower back.  She started to compress.  As she continued to place gentle pressure I felt more and more relaxed.  I felt my entire face go from tight to loose and relaxed.  I was after a minute or two entirely relaxed and sleepy.  The purpose of this treatment position was so my nervous system could be released.  She wanted to get all of my electricity flowing easily throughout my entire body so as to get a better reaction electrically as she treated my head today.
I was extremely relaxed at this point and now I was asked to lay down on the massage table on my right side.  A pillow was between my knees and a bean bag pillow was between my elbows and yet another bean bag pillow was under my neck.  She  began by pinpointing the specific problem areas with her metal electrical machine and the indicator area on my ribs.  But today she used my upper rib area rather than lower.
As she located different troubled areas on the left back side of my head, gentle pressure was placed using different hand positions as needed for each area.  Anywhere from approx. 30 seconds to 1 minute or so, the pressure was on.  Then the area was checked again with the indicator (rib area) and pressure with both hands to see if now the indicator area was solid and not soft and squishy.  If it was solid, that area was now healed and she moved on to wherever else there was an issue, constantly checking, treating and rechecking.  When my left central back of my head was being treated, I felt a jolt of energy in my right big toe and a bit of pain in my lower back.  When my left back area of my head was being treated I felt I needed to take deep breaths.  Margaret asked me if I was okay, I was so relaxed that I just murmured out a "uh huh"!  I took another deep breath as she continued working on my left head.  This area of my head reacted with the lung, diaphram area of my body.  At one point when my left head had pressure placed on it, I felt my entire right arm go numb and of course the usual, but less amount of twitching occurred in both arms.  She treated the entire left side and also a bit down my left neck.

When the left of my head had been completed, the right side was now to be treated.  I flipped over to my left side, very sleepily, again with the pillows between my knees, elbows and under my neck.  She began to check what areas needed healing using the upper rib indicator area on my right side and the electrical metal first.  Pushing on different areas on the back and right side of my head, while pressing on the indicator and waiting to see if that specific area made the indicator soft and squishy.  When she located areas that needed treating, she worked on them and rechecked again to make sure all was well and solid.  The right upper side of my head had a  slight bump on it.  It was a bit tender to touch, so gentle pressure was placed around that hurt area when it came time to treat it.  When I had  my car accident in 2001, a car had t-boned us on my side of the vehicle.  I hit the right upper side of my head which left me with the bump.  Also the left lower side of my head was affected.  I had minor whiplash, so that's why there was so much damage on the left side of my head.  The strike on my head radiated like a funnel to the left side of my head.  Margaret had worked double the time on my left side than that of my right side of my head.  Smaller area to be treated on my right side.
My feet seemed to be restless at times during the entire treatment.  At one point, when the right side of my head was being treated I felt achy in my left intestinal area.  Something was getting triggered in those areas throughout my nervous system, for my body to react this way, for my brain to tell the body to start to heal these areas.

Once Margaret had completed with my right side of my head, today's treatment had come to an end.
My body had a lot to process.

Whenever the head is treated, past emotions sometimes come out, a patient may cry or get angry.  I was somewhat nervous about my treatment today, because I didn't want to get angry and start thrashing my arms around, nor did I want to cry hysterically for any reason.  I did quite well with all of my treatment today, no crying, no anger, just relaxed tiredness.

I asked Margaret today since my head was being treated and my entire nervous system was once again lit up, will today's treatment help with my anxiety.  It should she said, so I will be making mental notes to see if it had.  My Oma was a ball of anxiety.  I was the lucky granddaughter to have inherited this.  Hopefully as only a short time passes I will finally be healed of this nervous disorder.

During my 30 minute drive home I had only one symptom.  My head was slightly achy, but this feeling diminished by the time I arrived at home.  And at one point during this post I felt a bit light headed, which Margaret said is normal after having the head worked on.  I am still tired and will more than likely continue to be so the rest of the day, as per Margaret's comments.

That's it for today,  my next treatment is next week, stay tuned for updates.  Meanwhile...

Eat Well, Stay Healthy.

Matrix Repatterning Treatment Three

                                                                                                                 Tuesday May 29, 2012

Today's treatment session started out the same as the last two.  But this time I came prepared.  As it has been 5 days since my last treatment I was sure to record some of my symptoms as they had occurred.
Margaret recorded pertinent information as I began to ramble on.
The evening after my last treatment I noticed that my left ankle had swollen quite a bit.  As you can see by the picture below.  I couldn't  make out my ankle bone with my foot bone, I was just all puffy.

My body was remembering the injury and now was reacting like this to heal it properly.
Margaret manipulates the bones, she tells me, which gives the body the go ahead to recognise old injuries and  now is able to heal.
The next morning, I felt a bit of pain in my right wrist, right shoulder, but these didn't last long, only a few minutes. And my left ankle was still swollen.   I was told the swelling, although not severe but noticeable, could last anywhere from 3 to 6 WEEKS.  Yikes!  Oh well, at least I know that this is an indication that Matrix Repatterning is working and my body is truly healing itself; what it is meant to do anyway.
Saturday I had a bit of a soar neck, swollen left ankle still and of all things I stubbed my baby right toe! Ugh!!
I'm sure Margaret will not be happy with me about that.  Or maybe she will be as she knows she can easily fix me.
I was asked how I was sleeping at night and if I had trouble getting to sleep.  I answered that yes I do now wake up at night a couple of times tossing and turning, where before the treatments began I was sleeping through the entire night.  And also now I have a hard time falling asleep too.  I'm up until almost midnight before I fall asleep.  I try to read in order to make myself tired enough to finally close my eyes, but nevertheless, the midnight hour soon approaches.  In the morning I wake up around 6:30 - 7:00am where before I could have easily slept in until 9am or so.  Margaret says this is happening because at every treatment session, my entire nervous system is being lit up.  I guess I'm kind of a light bulb on full power all of the time now, healing like a mad person.   What a wondrous thing our body is!

Okay, on with today's treatment.  As I lay on the massage table trying to find my happy place, Margaret begins working on my silly stubbed right baby toe.  She finds that the area right beside my toe on the outside of my foot is actually more damaged than the toe itself.  Who would have thunk!  Anyways, she fixed me right up.  As she was barely applying the first amounts of pressure, wouldn't you know it, my left arm just resting at my side on the table started to twitch again, already!  I am still shocked at how aware I am of  the electricity running through my body.  Maybe that's why I always get shocked so much pushing the carts at the grocery store.  Hmmm!
During the 5 minutes or so, that she finished with my silly toe, I still continuously felt pressure by my left pelvis area as I had during the first two treatments.  Still healing and releasing tension I'm sure.

Next she moved onto my left leg once again to finish up where she had left off last week.  She knew it needed more work.  My foot and ankle were still her main focus.  She had checked to see where the problem areas were with her handy dandy electrical metal thing and the indicator.
As she manoeuvred her hands in specific locations throughout my left foot and ankle  I felt the clicking in my big toe again as it moved back into place and in my ankle and again in a different part of my ankle.  My left arm continuing to react to every pressure point being pushed on, twitching like crazy, and I even felt some tingling on and in my left ear as my left foot was being treated.  At one point, Margaret placed one hand under my heel and the other hand on the top of my foot, as she placed gentle pressure she began to compress my foot together and there I went again another big click and my foot went back to its original normal position.  She says there were many little clicks happening I just didn't feel all of them this time as much.  Maybe I'm getting used to it.
When the bones receive an injury, ( like my left foot getting caught in the back wheel of a bicycle in motion ) for some reason they enlarge, ( maybe to absorb the injury?? as this may be the body's way to band aid the situation ) so my foot now was being manipulated back to where it was always supposed to be by the use of Margaret's healing hands.  As she had treated my left foot I felt light pressure in my right ankle too.  The body is all connected right.  Ahh let the Healing continue!!
While still on my left leg, the scar tissue on my left ankle from my bicycle injury years ago was being repaired as well.  Normally if anything slightly hits or touches the scarred area, I twinge, cause it hurts.  Today, because Margaret worked on fixing  my bones first, she says that she works on the bones and the body works on healing the connective tissues.  Now because she worked on my left outside ankle bone,  which was the centre for my pain in that scarred area, whenever she touched it today, it didn't hurt at all.  Actually at the end of the session she showed my how she treated  the scarred area.  She held her two thumbs, tip to tip, on one part of the scar and placed slight pressure as she tried to separate her thumbs, but making sure not to.  I could actually see right in front of my eyes, her thumbs were being moved apart as the scar tissue stretched apart.  OMG!  sooooo cool!  After treating all of the areas of my left foot and ankle, she used her electric metal device once again to make sure all was now well.  The indicator would show some strength not squish.

I was told that the legs and feet were the first to be treated as a new patient as they ground us electrically.  No ground = no current circulation.  Then the head which is the power and then the rest of the body are to be treated in that order.  Now when the power/head is worked on, this may trigger lots of emotions as all of the past emotions are now going to come out.  Also what may trigger are other problem areas in the legs again that may arise that may have been  hidden, by the head.

Margaret then checked the rest of my left leg, worked on my left knee a bit, rechecked it to make sure all was well before moving on to check my right knee again.  She treated my right knee for another bit, correcting more issues.  My lower arms were tingly again joined by my last two fingers on each hand and my right arm twitched now a bit to join my left arm. After a quick recheck of my right knee all was well again.

My pubic bone was the next to be treated.
Before my treatment was to begin.  Margaret measured with her fingers on my clothed body, how long from the top to the bottom of both sides of my pubic bones were to each other.  She measured that the left pubic bone was significantly larger than my right side.  Maybe about 1/8 inch larger.  Which is quite the difference when they are supposed to be the same size.  When my groin hit onto my bike as a child, this was more than likely the cause of this bone to have been larger, so Margaret told me.
I found out that the rib area that is pushed on, to feel if it is squishy or has some give when a certain area of my body had the electrical metal on it, is called the indicator.

When Margaret placed the metal on different areas of my pubic bone, I felt a lot of squish on the indicator area especially on the left side of my pubic bone.  All makes sense now about the indicator .... no?
She placed a small bean bag pillow across my pubic bones and put her entire front arm right across it and placed gentle pressure.  I felt a lot of release, for lack of a better word. My arms were twitching like crazy,  it's like they couldn't relax.  Next she placed some pressure with the palms of her hands pushing down on my pubic bone toward my back.  Again I felt release.  Then she placed light pressure onto my left pubic bone with both hands, almost pushing it together from top to bottom, like compressing the bone.  This time my right leg started to twitch too.  It was also bouncing a couple of times off of the table.  I must have looked like a circus act as I was twitching all over the place.  "The current was strong in her that day", ha, ha.
Margaret stopped there.  She said that was enough for today.  Or I would have been twitching the rest of the day.  And looked like a weirdo everywhere I went I'm sure.

I felt very calm and relaxed after today's treatment even with the twitching.  The hour of healing sure flew by fast.

My next appointment is in two days.  I can't wait to see what healing my body will do next.  My head will be the next focus of attention.  Yikes!

As we said our good byes, and discussed today's treatment a bit, I realised that my left foot was now too small for my left sandal.  The sandal had stretched out for my previous injured sized foot and now I was slipping out of it.  Oh well!! Its a good excuse to go shopping for some new sandals.  Lol!

Some of my symptoms I felt as I headed home was light pain in my right ankle.  Yup, right ankle, weird being that my left ankle was treated.  I noticed a small lump on the front of my right foot between the ankle bones of my foot too.  I felt a bit of a tight chest and some pressure in my head too.  All of these symptoms seemed to have passed after an hour or so, except for my right ankle.  The mild pain came and went as it pleased.  My left ankle also started to swell again a bit, but not as bad as the last treatment, at least not yet anyway.  Its only mid afternoon now.  I did however feel a few sharp jolts in my left foot a couple of times though.
Let the healing continue.

Until next time...
Stay Well
;)

Matrix Repatterning Treatment Two

                                                                                                                      Thurs. May 24, 2012

Today my Matrix Repatterning appointment was at 1pm.

So much went on today, but in different parts of my body.  By so much, I mean the amount of electricity that ran throughout certain parts of my body.

Margaret and I first began discussing what, if any symptoms I had felt since the last treatment.
I had a slight headache, that diminished within an hour after the treatment.  I had a bit of lower back pain and some tension around my right shoulder/neck area.  I had recalled some injuries from the past about soar knees in cold weather and about my cut mouth from the dentist and how I get headaches when the Barometer changes. I  voiced them to her as she recorded  all the information.

Today's treatment began by my laying down again, and again with my left leg laying flat and arms at my sides on the table, bending my right leg, so my knee faced the ceiling.  Margaret wanted to determine if my right leg had completely healed yet or not.
With one hand just at the base of my right ribs, she placed her metal electrical device on many different parts of my right leg as she pressed on my ribs.  There were still a couple of issues in my knee area, because  there was some softer muscle tissue near my ribs as she pressed when the metal was placed near and on my knee.  She asked me to go on my mini mind relaxing vacation as she began to work on my right knee.  Now remember my right knee sat higher that my left knee when both were bent and my feet were perfectly matched together.
She strategically placed her hands on a few different positions on my knee and applied a gentle pressure.  Then rechecked the areas and all felt solid under my ribs.

Next she moved on to my left leg.  Oh my!  The entire time she worked on my left leg, my left arm not only tingled, but it twitched a lot, to the point it was bouncing on the table.  Also during her entire treatment, I felt a pressure through my left pelvis area and into my groin.  So I was releasing a lot of tension in all of those areas. Good thing.  Those are my baby making parts.

As Margaret treated the thigh of my left leg, I felt just once a jolt across my upper back.  As she treated my left knee I felt the room spinning and then subside, as I continuously felt light tingling throughout my fingers on both hands and my left arm twitching with the my body electricity making the left side of my body tingle.

I was asked to lay on my right side with a pillow between my knees for the next treatment of my left leg.  My ankle was the next focus of attention.  I had a bicycle accident with my left ankle when I was very young.  It had gotten caught in the back spokes of a bicycle wheel that my cousin was riding and doubling me on.  I had a cast on it and still have a scar to prove it.  When Margaret began to place pressure on this area, I was sure I would have some pain, as it is and has been very sensitive to touch still today.  Yet every move she had made and every area she had placed pressure, I didn't feel any pain, only tension release.

My left toe was an issue all on its own!  I was laying on my back again as Margaret worked on my left toes and some parts of my left foot. When my right big toe was treated two days ago, I felt a clicking or popping 4 or 5 times as it was going back into place.  Today, when my left  big toe was being worked on, I felt about a dozen clicks as it moved back into position and it wasn't finished yet, because Margaret told my that she would complete the left side during my next appointment, focusing on my big toe and more ankle.
I practised gymnastics in high school, my feet and ankles took a lot of pressure as I would land during my routines on the uneven bars, balance beam and floor routines.

I felt the left front side of my foot click a couple of times too as she applied pressure to certain areas of my foot.  What a strange but relieving feeling to know your foot is healing itself with only minor pressure from a set of hands.  There's a lot of tension/injury still going on with my left ankle and big toe, so that will be treated again next time.  My left arm still twitched a bit even after Margaret had finished the treatment.  My body takes a few hours to adjust to the healing, she said.

As Margaret was finishing, she pushed my right leg towards my chest to see how flexible it had become.  I could now touch my right knee to my chest.  Which I couldn't before. My left knee was still in the air.  Close to my chest yes, but it could not reach quite as far as my treated right leg did.  And my right toe has straightened out.  One more measuring check was made.  My knees were almost at the same level when I was laying down with my knees bent.  My right leg seemed to sit higher that my left a few days earlier.  As we had determined this during my first visit and my assessment.  Not now, heights are almost the same, almost back to normal.

On my drive home I felt the left side of my face tingly a bit and my left elbow twitched a couple more times.
I also still felt light pressure in my left pelvis area....  Still continuing to heal.

The picture of my feet here, shows that now my right foot is healed and my left foot is still curvy and bendy. My right foot had the same curves and bends as my left foot still has now although not as extreme.

I will take another photo after my next treatment so we can all see the difference Matrix repatterning really
did.  Will my left foot straighten out?  I am a believer.  I have seen it work first hand.  So far so good anyway!

Until next time,
Stay Well,
;)

Matrix Repatterning Treatment One

                                                                                                                            Tues. May 22, 2012
Wow, what an experience!
When the entire treatment was over I felt like I had a whole body relaxation massage, without the massage part.
I found out tonight that I am very in tune with my body, electrically.  I am still vibrating a bit.

I arrived at Margaret's home (that's where she has her practise) at 7pm.  We first discussed the paperwork that she had given me during her assessment of me last week.  It was mostly about past injuries and my medical history and if I had any current pain anywhere on my body.

At about 7:30pm she began the treatment.
I was laying down on her massage table all nice and relaxed.  Margaret tested my teeth area and legs areas to see which one had the largest amount of injury, and to see which area was the weakest and which area she was going to work on first.  She held one hand just below my right rib cage and the other moved around her electrically charged rectangular metal piece (sorry still don't know proper term).  She would gently push on my ribs while holding the metal over different areas of my mouth and  legs.  My ribs went really squishy when she held the metal to my mouth area.  She began to work on them first.

With gloved hands she pressed gently on both sides of my bottom teeth inside my mouth and held that position for maybe 30 seconds to 1 min.  depending on how the energy flowed.  Then she checked again with the metal and ribs.  They were now more solid, no squish.  It worked!  Just gentle pressure on specific parts of the body activated my brain to tell my body to heal itself.
Margaret found that the left side of my lower mouth, mostly the jaw bone,  needed work so she focused on that area for a little while longer.  Then checked again for solid pressure on my ribs while holding the metal over the left of my mouth.  If she would have found a small area that felt squishy on my ribs, she would stop and work on that area with gentle pressure of her fingers again until that area felt solid on my ribs.  My mouth/lower teeth area was worked on for maybe 5-7 minutes total.  They seem to have reacted fairly quickly to the matrix repatterning pressure.  My entire mouth was checked again to make sure all of the problems had been corrected.
I remember one time at the dentist when I was in my 20's, the dentist had so many instruments in  my mouth that i gagged and one of his tools cut the inside of my left cheek when I automatically moved my head to the right because of the gag reflex.  Maybe that's why my left mouth area needed more attention than my right!

Next was my right leg.

I was told to relax and lay down my left leg and bend my right knee.  Margaret began to locate in a lot of detail where the problem areas were throughout my entire right leg.  From the thigh, right down to the tip of my toes.  As she began to put pressure and treat specific areas of my right leg, she would hold that pressure for 1 minute or so.  I wasn't counting, I'm just guessing, I was to go on a mini mind vacation and relax during the entire process so my body could focus on starting to heal.  Every point on my leg gave a different part of my body an electrical jolt which I felt quite intensely.  Sometimes I felt jolts in my left leg, sometimes my chest, head  and sometimes, a lot of the time my left pelvis area and sometimes I felt even different parts of my back and  digestive area.    I found out that I have an extremely sensitive electrical current running through my body that I can feel very easily.
At one point she was working on my big toe.  She asked my if I felt that " popping".  Most definitely I did.  Well, that was my toe moving back to its original position.  Omg, it felt so weird and awesome all at the same time.  I remember stubbing that toe when I was younger!
When my lower leg was being pressurised I felt my right knee "popping" back into place as well.
Another time when my knee was being worked on I felt a jolt in my left back.  I can't even remember if and when I had an injury in that area.  But I must have cause I felt the electricity move there.  I actually had to adjust how I was laying a bit so the area was less painful.  The slight pain didn't last long though.

Through the entire pressure points that were being worked on, on my right leg, I continuously felt both of my arms, which were laying relaxed at my sides, tingling. Especially my fingers and forearms.
In years past I used to crack my knuckles and are now left with baby fingers on both hands with enlarged knuckles, so they kind of look like a pregnant worm.  Weird visual, but that's the best way I can explain it.
I'm hoping that the Matrix might correct this, or if this is a permanent damaged issue, but who knows, I'll find out soon enough I'm sure.

Even after the treatment of my right leg was finished, which was for about 1 hour or so, I still felt like I was 'floating' and 'vibrating'.  Margaret stopped the treatment there, after she checked and rechecked every area that she had manipulated for the solid ribs.
I had a lot going on there.  Did I ever!  I was so relaxed.  I could have fallen asleep.

I was explained that my brain was getting all kinds of signals now about past injuries and to now tell my body to start healing itself because it had just been retaught to do so.
I was given a small bag of dead sea salts for my bath that I was told to have tonight to rid my body of all of the toxins that had been resurfaced.  I was also given a bottle of cold water to help move out the toxins so I can help out my body to get rid of them through my urine.  I never drink anything cold fast, but that bottle of water was gone in the first 10 minutes after my treatment.

I have a little bit of a headache now and was a bit cold during my drive back home and I continue to feel the vibrations even throughout writing this post.  What a neat feeling.  My entire nervous system was just 'lit up'.

I highly recommend Matrix Repatterning for the simple reason that I felt first hand... it works.  Its a natural method of healing that works.  Omg, my toe bone was put back in its place by itself with simple gentle pressure to my foot.  All I have to say so far is WOW!!!  And I've only just begun.

Until next time,
Stay Well,
:D

Matrix Repatterning Visit 1

Yesterday, Thurs May 17,2012 was my first visit to Margaret.

So you can understand some of the assessments she made from my body, check out this video.  It will help to understand a bit more of what Matrix Repatterning is all about.

My first visit entailed a complete assessment of my body so Margaret could find where my problem areas are.

First I was to stand as she checked and recorded my posture.  All okay.

Next I was to sit on her massage table and she checked all of my reflexes.  My knees, as any normal doctor would, then my ankles and finally my elbows.  All had a response except my left elbow.  Weird!

Following the reflexes I was to lay down on the massage table and Margaret now completed an entire body mobility and function check of not only my external physical body, but the internal bones and organs as well.
She explained to me of a device she was to use.  Can't remember the name, but it basically is a rectangular, (about the length of the palm and half the size), piece of metal that is attached to a small machine that can be hooked on to her hip, once turned on releases electrical currents through it.

She checked the movement ranges of my arms and legs.  My left side seemed to have a little bit less range of motion than that of the right side of my body.  I also found out that my right knee sat higher than my left knee when i was laying down with my knees bent. (not normal!)

Next she used the electrical current metal to pinpoint if there were any problems with my internal body.
She placed one hand on my chest just below my left ribcage.  She would lay the electrical metal on a different area of my body, example my kidney and gently push on my ribs.  When she pushed my muscle by my ribs, they should be tight , if there was damage to that particular part of my body, the muscle she was pushing on would be squishy.
Margaret continued her assessment head to toe and recorded all of her findings.  Much to my surprise, I had issues with my kidneys and the back of my head ( nervous system/anxiety and memory area ).  I was not surprised to find that I also had issues with my right shoulder, as I had injured it during one of my Booty Camp Fitness classes at the end of February this year.   Also my pelvic area seemed to have some issues as well. Guess that shouldn't come as a surprise since all of the Infertility Clinic procedures the last couple of years had failed.  If my body was not able to conceive on its own due to years of unbeknown damage, how could forced infertility treatments help.  The damage needs to be corrected before my body is even ready to conceive again.

She also checked my eyes, tongue and teeth.  Eyes and tongue okay.  Bottom teeth reflect the bottom half of the body, so no surprise my bottom teeth had an issue.

Lastly she checked my feet, where she used  the opposite end of her reflex hammer handle to draw an imaginary line down the bottom of each foot.  The toes are to curl as she draws, but mine didn't.  Another issue!

Overall, Margaret had taken about 1 hour to complete her entire assessment of my body.  Yes, there were some big issues and also some smaller issues, but she said all can be corrected.  Yeah!

We booked the next 2 weeks worth of appointments.

I will keep you posted as to what happens next.
Keeping my fingers crossed.  But what will be, will be.  As long as I am getting healthier in the process, that's what matters the most.

Stay happy
;)

MATRIX REPATTERNING

What the heck is Matrix Repatterning?                                                                        Tues. May 15,2012

I personally have never in my life hear of such a thing as Matrix Repatterning until 2 days ago.
A friend from work told me about her neighbour that has been going to school and learning about this therapy.  And it may help my infertility.
Her name is Margaret.  She is currently a massage therapist in Welland. She found out about Matrix Repatterning during a weekend massage therapy seminar in Toronto.
Margaret was so excited about this new therapy, that she immediately enrolled in a class and went home, told her husband she was quitting her job to start her own business as a Matrix Repatterning Practitioner.
She has finished all of her studies,  all of the workshops and has completed and passed her final exam.  All that's left to do is her thesis.  This is where I come in.

When I received the phone call from my friend I was a bit leery.  Like I said, I have never heard of any kind of therapy like Matrix Repatterning.  I made the call to Margaret to find out how this therapy could benefit me. As soon as I heard Margarets voice I could tell she was very passionate about this therapy.  I was on the phone with her for almost 20 minutes just hearing what the Matrix was all about.  She said she could have rambled on forever.  She gave me the website  MatrixRepatterning.com to check out too.  I spent about 1 hour going through and learning what Matrix Repatterning was all about, after our phone call.
Basically, she needed a BODY to work on to complete her thesis and recive her degree.  I was to be her guinea pig, if that was okay by me.  After hearing all about the miracles Matrix could do.  I was IN!!  I made an appointment for the next day.

Matrix Repatterning is a revolutionary new way of understanding, objectively assessing and gently treating the body.  It is in use around the world by chiropractors, physical therapists, sports medicine specialists, vets, massage therapists, athletic therapists and trainers.  It is a clinically-proven form of manual therapy based on sound scientific principles that restores structural balance, eliminates pain and improves overall health by resolving the problem at its source.  Literally at the molecular level.

Research has demonstrated that the physical effects of many injuries, such as falls, car accidents, sprains, strains, and sports injuries are absorbed by the dense core structures of the body, which include the bones of the skeleton and the fluid-filled organs (which react like water balloons upon impact).  The cells within these structures expand and become rigid with injury.  This is referred to as a primary restriction. A primary restriction causes the surrounding tissues, including muscles, ligaments, joints and other soft tissues to become strained and painful.  These symptomatic areas are usually the ones treated with most other forms of therapy, however, since the source of the injury within the core structures has not been addressed, this provides only short term relief and the condition tends to return.
Matrix Repatterning directly addresses the root of the problem, allowing for profound changes and lasting results.

The goal of Matrix Repatterning is to release primary restrictions in order to relive pain and restore normal function.
Everyone has had some kind of damage to a body part.  Stubbing a toe, breaking an arm, hitting your head, falling down stairs.  A sports injury.  As a child, falling off of a bicycle and hitting your groin. Twisting as ankle while running, etc, etc.
Matrix Repatterning will help heal all of the damage caused by these injuries that have physically affected the structural balance of the body.

Conditions associated with structural imbalance are,

headaches and migraines
head injury and concussion
dizziness and ear noise (tinnitus)
joint problems
snoring and sleep apnea
neck and upper back pain
low back pain
scoliosis
shoulder and arm pain
carpal tunnel syndrome
digestive complaints
gastro-esophageal reflux (GERD)
cardiovascular conditions
menstrual pain
urinary incontinence
erectile dysfunction
postural imbalance
hip, knee, ankle, foot pain
fibromyalgia
chronic pain
and apparently infertility

Matrix Repatterning is a clinically-proven method, which has been shown to resolve many of these conditions.

This video shows how Matrix Repatterning works.

Soo excited for my first appointment.  I'll keep you updated as to my progress.

Keep Well,

CRON-O-METER

I've just discovered this new way of tracking what you eat in day.
Its called a CRONOMETER.

This web site gives you the option to input all of the foods and everything you have drank throughout the day  and it calculates your calories for the day, vitamin intake, mineral intake, the amount of water you've drank, and how much more you need, the fat intake for a particular food or how many carbs you've eaten in a day, etc, etc.  Take a look, I found this extremely helpful.

Now I can determine where I am going wrong with my diet and what I still need to approve on.
If you click on a food that you have entered on your list,  you are able to find out all the nutritional information about it.  For example how much fat, carbs, protein is in that food. If there are vitamins and how many of each kind, if this food contains mineral, and how many of each kind, and much more info.

There is a chart on this website where you are able to see how many vitamins and minerals you are taking in on any given day.  The cronometer also graphs out on a pie chart how many carbs, fats and protein you have eaten that day, so you are able to see if you are eating too much fat or not enough protein, etc.

Now I have the tools to take control of what I have been eating and what I need to eat more of.

Here's the link
cronometer.com

I'm actually following the LFRV diet (low fat raw vegan) option. In this diet I eat 80% carbs, 10% fat and 10% protein.  Trying something new to see if it works for me.  So far so good for the last month.  Lots of fruit!!
Good luck with your own chart.

COLD SORES

Ugh! Cold sores, fever blisters, sun blisters, whatever you may call them, I am one of those lucky people that was prone to getting embarrassing cold sores.  I'm sure it was passed down from the genes of my mother, as I've noticed that she get these nasty little cold sores too.
I have for many years now looked for a natural way to heal them.
I have researched like crazy, because I just wanted to be rid of these little horrors on my face.
I've tried many different over the counter creams and lotions and potions.  I didn't however get a pharmaceutical prescription from my doctor, because I don't want any added man made chemicals on my face, or in my body, the natural way to go is the only way in my opinion.
As a last resort I searched the Internet for problem/solution websites.  I came upon several that guaranteed to never get the terrible looking, painful, cold sores again.  Oh yeah!  Sceptical!!!

Well, finally one captured my interest, maybe out of desperation!  I began using this product and now about 2-3 years later...... I have finally caught the attention of myself and noticed that this product has actually worked for me.  In the past  year I have only had maybe one outbreak, in the entire year.   Which is totally FANTASTIC!!  And this breakout wasn't even very large and  healed quickly.  If and when I do get a breakout now,  which is very few and far between, I can't even remember when my last breakout was, I dab on this product I found on the net called CHORAPHOR.  It is a topical skin antiseptic.  It is an all natural remedy that contains cupric salts and herbal extracts.  This product was right up my alley, since I am all about natural everything. Check it out at www.choraphor.com.

In past years I used to get one to three cold sores every month especially when I was under a lot of stress with work.  And especially during holiday times as I work in retail.  Or for any other possible stressful time in my life or time of the month.  So for years, in almost every holiday photo, there I was with a big red mark on my lip.  Sometimes, even after eating a milk chocolate bar, I would have a break out!!  So no more of those.
This Choraphor did slow down the amount of times and duration of my cold sore outbreaks.  Yeah! Some relief was in sight.

Another thing I have noticed is, that since I became vegetarian, about 5 years ago, I haven't had as many breakouts.  I guess my body doesn't have to work as hard digesting all of those fatty meats and takes more time to heal other parts.  I also try to not let stress get the better of me.  As these are huge cold sore triggers for me.

I was so desperate to finally clear up my problem for good, that I started looking into natural ways to heal as well.
I've read from many different sources, that L- LYSINE was very good and helped.  I always have a bottle in my cupboard now, just in case.
Today,  if ever I happen to get that tingly sensation on my lips again... I immediately take 2 Lysine, and rub some Super Lysine + lip cream on that part of my lip.  And voila, no outbreak yeah!

If I ever happen to get another cold sore anytime, I know I have the Choraphor to fall back on. I remember when I first ordered this product via the Internet, the company claimed that one would be cured before even going through the entire 12ml bottle.  They were right!  At least for me anyway.  I have had this bottle for quite some time now and  I still have about 1/3 of the liquid left.  I paid about $100, but has been well worth every penny to have my beautiful non blotched  up lips free and clear of any outbreak.   Yes, this liquid stings a bit once dabbed onto a sore lip, but again totally worth it, and the stinging means its working.

There were a few other triggers mentioned in my readings.  Chocolate, nuts, seeds, alcohol, caffeine, sickness,  smoking, stress, allergies, menstruation and excessive sun exposure.

Well, no wonder I used to get a lot of these cold sores..... I used to live in a house with a smoking parent, where I got sick a lot, and who caused me stress which led me to eat comfort foods like chocolate, Ugh!!

I have now had less of a  problem since I have moved out of my parents home, changed my chocolate intake to dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa) and I don't eat a lot of it.  Just a few pieces once a month or so.  I've never really had a problem with nuts and seeds and eat them whenever I want to without any issues.  Luckily I don't have any known allergies so that's never been a problem for me. I only have an alcoholic drink every now and again.  And I don't drink any beverages that contain caffeine.  Maybe the odd coffee here and there.  I have had plenty of exposure to the sun over the years, and I am happy to say that it is no longer an issue for me either.  When we travelled to our cottage up North, I used to get an outbreak every year.  Now I don't.  I also now watch more with what I eat, meals full of fruit, veggies, whole grains and live bacterial culture filled yogurt, to keep my immune system healthy.  And I exercise now too.  Since my diet and lifestyle change I hardly get sick any more.  The most I ever have is a runny nose. ( I like to take oregano oil if and when I get sick, but that's another story)
I'm happy to say I am finally rid of the cold sores that have been haunting me for far too many years.

LOW FAT WALDORF SALAD

Since I will be having a lot of tropical fruit this weekend with my family, as we celebrate my son Dylan's 17th birthday and I've decided to have a Jamaican theme, today I wanted something raw to eat that was still sweet but a little more towards a Canadian climate.

I definitely wanted an apple, so I began there.

I love, love, love Waldorf Salad.

I first discovered it and made this salad during my high school years while attending a Home EC. class. ( basically a class where you learn how to cook and sew )

My salad was sooo good, I made it every day for the next 3 days at home.

As years have gone by I've learned many new and exciting ways to make this delicious salad.  I've made the dressing with sugar, honey, mayo, yogurt, sour cream, lemon, lemon zest, to list just a few and not used all  of the ingredients at once of course.
But what has mainly stayed the same was the use of the salad ingredients themselves.
Apple, grapes, celery and walnuts.  Although, I have used pecans in the past as well, or whatever nut I happened to have at the time and in any style, sliced, slivered or chopped.

I made this salad a few weeks ago as part of a dinner with my in laws.  My father in law, Joe, has never in all of his years had a Waldorf salad.  So I made one.  This salad had the usual apple, I used mutsu, a sweet and crisp apple, red grapes, celery, walnuts (lightly toasted) and a dressing made with yogurt, mayo, honey, and lemon juice and zest.  Well I am happy to say that Joe loved it and had two helpings for himself.

Today, was different though.  I didn't feel like being bogged down with a lot of fatty dressing.  I need energy!  I kept things as simple as possible and here's today's version of my EASY low fat Waldorf salad..... maybe too easy, since I only used 3 ingredients!!!

EASY WALDORF SALAD

INGREDIENTS

1 apple ( I have organic golden delicious in the fridge)
2 organic celery stalks
12 red grapes

INSTRUCTIONS

Chop the apple and celery and toss them together in a bowl.  Cut the grapes in half and add them in the bowl. Grab a fork and dig in.
Enjoy!!!  Make this super easy salad for a filling snack or a light lunch.  You can use another apple, more celery and more grapes if you are not full yet.

I did have an orange standing by in case I felt like squeezing on some fresh orange juice, but I didn't feel like it today.  Maybe next time!

This salad is sweet, crunchy and tasty.  I know it seems too simple,  but you'll be surprised, this salad is good!  The bonus is... its raw, gluten free, and vegan and packs vitamins and nutrients all in one neat little package.

A variation for you if the simplicity is too much for you is to add that squeeze of orange or lemon and stir in some nuts and some vanilla yogurt.  Also why not add a little fennel or incorporate some cous cous to make a salad with some added grains.   Mmmm sounds good.

JAMAICA

Soooo, I've just come back from a lovely trip to Montego Bay Jamaica.  It was my first trip ever to Jamaica and I will be returning again next year for sure. The place is absolutely fabulous. The people are friendly and Jamaica is beautiful.  Sun, sand, surf and fabulous food...  what else could a girl ask for.

star apple
The morning breakfast buffet was filled with all kinds of yummy local fruit.  I especially loved the fresh mango and the papaya.  So delicious and sweet.
There was a purple fruit called the star apple that was kind of jelly inside but was quite tasty and sweet.
Also offered  was a Jamaican apple.
This fruit was bright red on the outside and white on the inside it had the texture of a hard pear and was very mild and almost a bit bitter in flavour. Not my favourite, but I am happy to have been able to try it.

Jamaican apple

The morning buffet also offered a wide range of juices and milkshakes.  My favourite juice combo, that I liked to  mix up in my glass was cucumber, beet and carrot.  Yummmmmy!  I had a glass every morning.  I also filled my travel mug with more juice so I could sip it throughout the morning.  So good I can taste it now!

Papaya juice, fresh orange juice and  the fresh pineapple juice were all very tasty and fresh too.  The two milkshakes were banana and strawberry and just banana and milk and ice.  Soooo good too.  I could drink these all day.

Talk about eating well naturally.  Nothing is better than fresh, ripe tropical fruit and their juices first thing in the morning on a beautiful sun shine filled day.

Among a few alcoholic drinks with great names like, Purple Rain, Big Bamboo and Dirty Banana, I enjoyed a few young coconuts filled with coconut water throughout the week.  Very  rejuvenating.  So hydrating too.

It's super easy to make your own banana milkshake for your own tropical paradise breakfast.  Put lots of peeled bananas, milk and ice into a blender.  Blend well.  Enjoy.
Now close your eyes and imagine the sun shining on your face and sitting at the beach or around the pool and take it all in.
Ahhhhh!
